Tanya Matthews is the founder/visionary of TIA and is a woman of God who has been committed to working with Girls and young women ever since she did a placement whilst at university in a women and girls centre in Leicester. Tanya has gained over 15 years’ experience working with girls and women in the community and when the call of GOD came for her to lead and develop TIA, it was clear that her previous experience was preparation for this work. No stranger to emotional hurts. Tanya has allowed the Lord to use her own personal journey to teach, inspire and motivate women and girls all over the world to understand emotional pain, healing and purpose.

The team has over 40 years of experience working with young people from all walks of life. Together they have pioneered many projects and programmes both locally, nationally and internationally. TIA also has a staff team of qualified tutors, who specialise in dance, drama, vocal coaching, fashion, hair & make up, video & photography and culinary arts. There is also a range of counsellors, therapists and specialist youth workers.
*Although TIA is a girls and women’s organisation we do use male tutors.
